1) Read chapter 2 summary from Cengage site, and do the practice tests online. (please print results if you can, if not email them WITH YOUR NAME)
2) Open the earth tipping point site and watch the intro video and two videos at bottom of page, and DEFINITELY WATCH APO ISLAND. Choose two readings from either the "stories by region" or "stories by topic" write a 300 word review on each, be prepared to present to class.
3) Positive and negative Feed back loops , read the article, understand the concepts/flow charts, begin to develop your own "case study" system. HIGH PRIORITY!!!
4) TED feedback loops examples. Add to your notes.
5) Read and work through the chapter review questions in the book from chapter 2 in class (there's almost a class set in the room), hand written, please collaborate on your answers.
6) Fire suppression history- read the article, and compare with Healthy Forest Initiative.
