Beach nourishment can make the beach uninhabitable or can ruin/scare off wildlife. Coastal erosion means habitat loss for many species and can force people to relocate. It is a natural process, but is sometimes enacted or sped up by human activities. The world sucks, humans are fools and ruining the world, only a miracle can save us, lets move to mars or find a way to establish cities under water, no one cares anymore so those of us who do should just leave, I heard Venus is lovely this time of year, let's kill everyone who is ruining the earth with selfish money-related desires, let's hope we don't destroy ourselves before the second coming takes place and the earth is renewed, everyone is dead anyways.
Sorry, rant over. Here is my real blog post:
Okay, but seriously, get educated, people! Even those trying to help are harming. Learn about acceptable times to nourish beaches, put the effort in to ensure the sands both match, etc. If you're going to save someone, do it right. Too many people are absorbed in their own self interests and often forget to look around and think about others. When someone discards some trash on the beach, they don't think about the turtle or fish that might eat it, thinking it is food. They don't think about the predator that might eat the turtle or fish and then also get sick or even die. They don't think about the future generations of marine life they just destroyed. They just think about how far away the garbage can is, or how much effort it would take to pick it up or chase it. They just think about how tired they are, or how it is someone else's trash, they should take care of it. Get your heads out of the clouds! We do not live in a perfect, sustainable world that we cannot ruin. Please, please, please just do it! You won't die because you threw something away properly.
Once again, I cannot think of anything to write about. I truly am trying, I promise.
